Very well made, with a solid construction

I was really skeptical that this was going to work properly, it's made of diacotimus earth, that I usually use in the garden to keep bugs off my plants, so I want convinced that it would absorb the water. It does absorb it, quite nicely and it looks great!
I have padded fabric dish drain pads, they work but I'm always aware if the possibility that they are getting moldy between the layers of fabric. This stone would be a great way of draining dishes without the risk of hidden mold.
The mat rolls up in a compact roll and fits easily under the sink. It is stone, you cannot soak it and it will chip if you are too rough with it but for the small amount of dishes we do it should hold up quite nicely. I set my dish rack up on top of it and it sits quite securely. Very well made and solid.

Oooh I like!!! Pretty stone mat that has a light cream colour with a hint of brown or grey depending on the lighting. This colouring will blend in with any decor and colour scheme. Nice weight and a good size. The backing is a clear plastic film that isn't flimsy and water will run off. Pictures -did a water drop test with interval pictures at 1minute, 2minute, 3.5mins, 4mins and about 5minutes. You can see drop totally fading away and only feels slightly cold where drop was. I'm confident after drying won't leave water stains or discoloration. I'm thinking the only area to pay attention to would be the pastic where water would collect. Wiping and air drying it would take care of any issues. Definitely a recommended mat!!!
