I bought two of these, one for my parents for Christmas and one for myself as well. I used it yesterday and it works amazing. It’s definitely faster than any other method when you’ve forgotten to take something out of the freezer. It’s a great gift as well! It’s also metal and has a sleek, nice look to it.

The tray works great. I took this pack of porkchops right out of the freezer and left them inside the vac seal bag to thaw. After about 45 min the 3/4" thick porkchops began to thaw as the meat that was on the tray side felt soft. After about 2 hrs, the porkchops were completely thawed. I think if I took the meat out of the bag and the air temperature was warmer, it would thaw much faster.

Some complained about the size being too small - not sure what the expectations were since the measurements are listed with the item. I personally think it's the perfect size for most uses...unless you have to thaw multiple or large pieces of meat for a large family.

I bought two of these because we needed a reliable spot to thaw our meat consistently, and they’ve worked great so far. I do wish they were a little bigger, so I’m definitely glad I bought two. The trays seem to be good quality, sturdy, and easy to clean. A simple but very useful kitchen tool!

I truly don’t understand how anyone could rate this ingenious thing poorly. I have histamine intolerance and need a way to quickly defrost meat. This tray has become a something we rely on daily! It quickly wicks away the cold. This lb of ground beef went from frozen solid to breakable within half an hour. We also defrost huge chicken breast on this and it works beautifully. We won’t ever be without this.

We are carnivores, so we literally only eat meay. I found this for my husband, and here is what he had to say:

"I've only tried our thaw plate a couple times so far, but it really seems the meat placed on it thaws twice as fast as meat just set out to thaw. It was not expensive and definitely worth-while investment. I'm looking forward to using it more."

It was lightweight, yet sturdy. Easy tobuse -- just take out of the box and place it on the counter.

This made a great Father's day gift. We just may be ordering more for Christmas presents!

Does exactly what it claims, put some frozen chicken on it when i got home and within 2 hours it was thawed out enough to cook and cut with. Also did the ice cude test they showed in their description and the ice cube melted within minutes compared to one on a plate.

I purchased this quick defrosting tray during 'Prime Days' not knowing how effective it actually is.
After finding myself in a bind with nothing ready to cook for dinner, I placed several pieces of frozen chicken on the defrost tray in the early afternoon. By the time dinner rolled around 3 1/2 hours later the chicken had nearly completely defrosted to the point where I was able to cook the pieces thoroughly without worrying about uncooked areas through the middle.

Ideally, taking meat out to defrost earlier would be more effective, but in a situation like this I was happy to have the defrost tray on hand.

This would work well in circumstances where the family is always on the go and time to plan a meal the night before is not always convenient.

This is a worthwhile purchase.

It is super comfortable to use, but if they are large meats it takes a little longer to thaw but approximately a large ball of super frozen meat between 2 to approximately hours but it helps you a lot especially when you forget to thaw it from the previous day.
