My husband got this for me as I wanted to make more homemade food. It’s made of good plastic material. I have used it several times since getting it and nothing has broken on it. Love that it isn’t bulky and it gets the job done quickly. It is sharp so one has to be careful. Worth the money.

My friend was using it and I immediately ordered one when I got home. Make sure you keep the potatoe centered. It's hard to press if the potatoe gets near the edge.

The cost of groceries these days is a lot and its looking cheaper to get a bag of potatoes to make fries at home than it is to buy frozen French fries. I love French fries. I love potatoes. We're not afraid of carbs in this house, carbs are actually a good energy source. I just don't always want to have to cut a whole potato, it takes too long, and the pieces come out odd shaped when I do. This potato slicer gives me back my time and perfectly shaped fries. I appreciate that it's easy to put together and doesn't take up a lot of space. It cleans easy too. Just a helpful note: the first time I tried it, I got halfway into slicing the potato and it was stuck, the potato was starting to get pushed at an angle so the top couldn't hit the potato flat. Once I adjusted the potato I was able to finish pushing it all the way down. My plan is to slice a few potatoes and then get out my food saver to stock my chest freezer. I'm feeling less stressed about this plan since the slicer makes it go faster. I won't be in the kitchen for an hour now. 100% quality of life product.

This french fry slicer is a game changer when making french fries. It is very easy to operate. You just put the potato on top of the blade and push down with the top lid. You can slice several potato's in a minutes
time. The slicer can be used for onions, carrots, apples etc. The blade and chopper were easy to clean.
I highly recommend this chopper.

I've been impressed so far, with this crazyqueen French fry cutter potato slicer. I've used it several times for French fries, diced potatoes, and strawberries. It washed up very nicely in the top rack of my dish washer and dries well, for having so many small holes. It made dicing around 3 pounds of strawberries such a breeze, and I had the diced strawberries on the stove for jam quicker than I ever have before. I will say that cleaning up the blades after the strawberries was a chore, however everything else washed quickly. I had to use a straw-cleaning brush that was small enough to fit in between the blade holes in the blade attachment. The potatoes, however, left nothing behind to fret about, and the blade attachment cleaned easily. Therefore, different foods being cubed in this will offer a different result. I like that all the parts detach, including the food pushing lid, making everything easier to wash and dry. I have recommended this to family and friends already.

This makes cutting potatoes into sticks for fries very easy. I used to cut potatoes in circles because it’s easier that way but with this I can make “real” fries. Just put a potato in the top (I used yellow), press down and you have instant potato sticks. It’s also easy to clean but be careful because the removable fry blade is very very sharp. I cut my finger trying to wash it the wrong way. Totally my fault. For the price this is a great kitchen tool.

This potatoe slicer works. It's fairly easy to disassemble and get it cleaned up. I had to look at the instructions to get the top apart. The very top part that you press on twists to release from the inner section allowing all the parts to come apart. We like sweet potatoe fries so that is what we have tried this for. The instructions suggest partially cooking the sweet potatoes since they tend to be very hard. We did but went a little too long and had some mushy parts that made for a little more cleanup. The "fries" we got were nice and uniform and worked well in the air frier. Other than being a bit bulky this is a nice tool for the kitchen

The result is perfectly and uniformly cut French fries. It requires some force to push the blades through, but they are super sharp and take just a few seconds to cut. The slicer can be cleaned on the top rack of the dishwasher. This tool takes away the tedious process of cutting potatoes.
